Tractor

Here up North was this wheel something or other just plopped there in the forest in front a beautiful brook. No insignia, nothing, just there. Must have been some kind of old tractor or something. It fascinated me that it was just there as still as everything else.

  2. This machine is an inertia wheel which was used in the original sawmill founded over a hundred years ago by Alcide Forget on the Ruisseau Français in St-Jovite, now part of Mont-Tremblant. It sits at the side of the brook across the street from my B&B. Everyone is fascinated by it and many people have had their pictures taken sitting within the great wheel. Love the sketch!
